Data ethics
Relationship data is sensitive. We built Serendipity for curated networks because trust is the product. These are the principles we hold ourselves to.

Intent over extraction
Members share intent deliberately. We never harvest contacts, scrape inboxes, or infer relationships members haven't confirmed.
Member ownership
Your intents and your private graph belong to you. You can export, edit, or delete them at any time, and they leave with you if you leave the network.
No advertising, no resale
We don't run third-party advertising. We don't sell or rent member data. Our revenue comes from networks paying for the product, not from monetising attention.
Minimal AI footprint
AI is used to summarise, match, and surface — not to impersonate. Models are run on infrastructure we control where possible, and member content is never used to train third-party foundation models.
Transparency by default
Members can see what's been captured about them, how it's being used, and who can see it. Networks see aggregate health metrics, never private member messages.
Honest about limits
We're early. When we get something wrong, we say so, fix it, and tell affected members directly.
